Stand out on the roadway and direct traffic to pass.
Switch on the vehicle hazard warning lights, get out of the vehicle and stand safely to the side.
Get out of the vehicle and wait at the rear of it.
Try to flag down other traffic from the rear of the vehicle for assistance.

Explantion: If your vehicle breaks down on the road, always switch on the hazard warning lights and stand clear of the vehicle while awaiting assistance – this will warn other traffic that there is a vehicle stopped on the road.
