Explantion: Before opening any door, check for other road users passing, and in particular look out for pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. Exit the vehicle only when it is safe to do so, and close the door as soon as possible. Where ever possible, passengers should exit on the side nearest the kerb wherever possible.
